a nice day out
Yesterday was one of those days that you never planned coming. I was quite ready for the day, ready to leave the house with everything I needed. Except one most important item, my keys :p Yes, I locked myself out again! It's been my habit to just lock the front door from the inside before closing it. Then we started the habit of locking the top lock as well. So I was getting my keys from my bag to do that, when I realized the keys are in my room! Although I don't have my house keys and car keys on the same set, they're usually kept together at all times. So, I forgot my car keys as well!!!
There I was in front of my townhouse, all my roommates have gone out to work. This time I had my wallet with me, so I was able to take the bus. The bus ride was actually quite nice. From our place to the university district, they went the long way, through Lake City Way and Sand Point Way. I found out how beautiful Sand Point Way is, with a stretch of the road just by the Puget Sound. Beautiful waters :)
In the afternoon on my way home, I was in touch with my roommate, to synchronize the time she would get home. Turns out she was at the university district, so I was able to meet up with her. I could've taken the bus to get to her, but instead I walked. About half an hour to forty five minutes walk. hahaha... I guess it's good since I needed the walk. The not so good part is I'm not quite dressed for walking. The weather turned to the unexpected today as well, as it got cool and cloudy. It didn't rain while I was walking so it's all good :) I think I made my roommate wait for me for quite a bit for me to get to her car. Thank you so much!!!
Lesson for the day? Always (and I emphasize that again...always!!!) check for your keys before leaving the house. Better yet, try not to lock the door from the inside from now on... All in all, it turned to be a nice day out ^-^

That's funny, yesterday I forgot my keys too! Although I left mine in my office and didn't realise it until I was home so I had to go back to the office. In the end I also managed to nip into town and picked up some food so it wasn't all that bad.

It's funny how things sometimes turn out to be. Good thing you were able to get food although you had to go back to the office. How far is the office to your place?
oh no... not again... luckily it all worked out. Look from the bright side, you got to cruise on sand point way and saw the beautiful view hehehe

yes, sand point way has a really nice view. might go there one nice day, probably to magnuson park. never realized how close by the water that area is.
lol... that's good for you ;-) forgot the keys but at least you got tohe view :D heheheheeh.....thank goodness you were already inside the car when it started to rain :D
