sleepy ...

the heat isn't helping. I'm dozing off in front of the computer in the computer lab!!! I want ice cream. ice cold water. anything that can cool me down ... and wake me up! :P

it's hot

this week has been a preview to summer. it's been nice out. blue sky. clear, sunny day. it's been hot. today is the warmest. it might be the last day of this week of summer. according to the forecast it'll rain again. that'll cool down the temperature a little bit. summer officially starts after june 21. so, it's coming soon. can't wait! longer days. more blue sky. great view of the mountains!

hiking is fun

nature is beautiful. blue sky. green trees. colorful flowers. blue waters. I love it :)

on monday, memorial day, I went with 10 other to hike at Rattlesnake Ledge. it was quite nice. quite a challenge for me. I couldn't keep up with the others. they weren't running or anything. but their pace was too fast for me. about halfway, I felt the symptoms of a black out, like I was going to faint. that's how weak I am ^.~
after sitting down for a bit, I felt better. with that, they realized that I had to hike much slower than them. they let me hike at my own pace, accompanied by my friend. I would've been fine doing it myself, but they were more comfortable and left me on my own after knowing that I have company. understandable :) we took our time hiking the remaining trail.

when we got to the top, the view was breathtaking! we were on top of the mountain! it was actually a little dangerous as there is no fence or anything :P

we had a light lunch up there, enjoying the beautiful view.

nature...I'm loving it!

cheap, cheaper, or cheapest

moving time. again. this year has been totally different compared to the previous 4 years. from living in the same place for more than 3 years, to moving to 3 different places in about 2 years. I'm not used to it, as you can tell.

this last move though, made me a little excited with the thought of living by myself. but, that's way too expensive. well, honestly, I haven't been looking too hard for that option.

anyways, the reason I wrote this. I just got back from a house. it's 2 floors, 4 rooms each floor, each floor has its own kitchen and bathroom. sure, it's cheap. the size of the room is sufficient. but, it's a pretty old house, and it's not that well taken care of, if you know what I mean. it's dirt cheap though... and it's pretty flexible in terms of lease agreement.

wednesday afternoon I'm going to look at another one. this one sounds good. but I don't know how it looks like for real. I drove past it today. it took me about 4 turns to finally find the place. I was driving around the wrong side of the road. hahaha... finally I realized it's on the other side, and the house looks pretty nice and big actually. I think whoever's living in there noticed my car driving past it. pure coincidence that he/she was just looking out the window? I think so. well, I really hope this one is better. if it is, I think I'll take it. the downside to this one? the lease is only until september...
