brace yourselves

A WINTER STORM WATCH has been issued for all of the western Washington lowlands for Wednesday evening though Thursday morning. Yes, here we go again. Another storm is coming in Wednesday night. This is the one that will punt out our arctic air and warm us up, but since that cold air will be stuck here until then, this storm will likely start as snow everywhere, then gradually turn to rain -- although a period of freezing rain is possible in between.

will it be another snow day on thursday? we will find out ...

hello, winter

we've been anticipating it... knew about it first through the weather forecast. the saturday forecast of rain/snow showers didn't affect seattle. this morning, though, or probably starting last night, seattle got a little bit of the rain/snow showers. it's going to get colder in the next few days. wonder if the snow will stick... from the looks of it this morning, it's just going to melt away...

nevertheless, it's still snow in autumn! what a unique autumn it has been this year :)

autumn

looks like we're having a wet one this autumn. been raining in the last few days. right after the couple freezing winter days we got to have. now, it's been raining every day. and it's raining pretty hard too. there's flooding in a lot of places. hope that it doesn't get worse.

this feels more like autumn. sure it's wet, and a little cold after walking in the rain. have to be a little more cautious while driving as well. and walking.

note to all of you who enjoy walking in the rain: be careful when you come across puddles as you walk. make sure you're as far away as possible from any puddles in which cars can drive by. apparently there are people in this world that just love to speed through them, drenching poor ignorant pedestrians.
