wicked

I was supposed to be doing something else (i.e.sleep!!!) but I ended up looking around youtube tonight and found the original cast of wicked. they're so good :) galinda is so fun!!! annoyingly cute :p

listening to them for the first time, I'm taken back to the night I saw the wicked musical live here in seattle. it wasn't the original cast, of course, but they sound as good! even better! maybe it's the whole live performance experience. but I did watch different casts just now and really, none of them compare to the one in seattle.

the wicked musical I got to see here (huge thank you for taking me to watch it!!!) was really really good. before coming there, I didn't know the songs, hardly knew the story. I've heard it's good but I had no expectation.

the show is beautifully made, great songs and storyline. the performance was flawless. the music and vocals were perfect. the acting was wonderful! I was drawn into the world of the wicked. the duets of elphaba with galinda as well as fiyero are so beautiful. such a wonderful experience.
